What does it mean when a baking recipe says to rotate the baking sheet from front to back?

Do you actually rotate the pans, like turn them around? Or does it just mean move the pan from the front of the oven to the back of the oven? Or both?

it means to remove the pan from the oven, turn it 180 degrees so that the far side of the pan is now facing you and place it back in the oven.

This is a precaution against ovens that are not evenly hot.
