what to put in the decorative baskets?
I have a brown baskets left over from my wedding. I am OBSESSED with baskets. I have a basket for our dvd’s, baskets for our laundry, baskets for my cookbooks, magazine baskets, etc.
But I don’t know what to put in this basket. I want it to be more of a decorative basket rather than a utilitarian basket (like for holding dvd’s)
Its about 1.5 feet wide, 1/2 foot deep and 1/2 foot tall with a handle. Its very dark, like a mohogany color.
(oh and I’m not going to give it to someone. Its a beautiful basket)
Any ideas of what to put in it?
Nope my home is not cluttered. Quite the opposite. Everything has a nice spot either inside a storage box placed on a closet shelf, or else it is inside a basket and placed nicely in its place. Very few things actually make it on display since I HATE unnecessary knick-knacks.
So in other words, I have plenty of room in my house for another basket. My house isn’t all baskets.
Well you could put in silk flowers and maybe a small strand of christmas lights weaved in and around the basket or flowers. Or you can take something that you collect and fix up the basket. For instance, I collect old bottles, I would put colored glass in the bottom and arrange some of my bottles in it.
