Does Oprah Interrupt too much?
Is it me or does Oprah have a tendency to interrupt her guests a LOT? I’ve seen this several times before on her show.
I was home ill from work today and happened to catch Oprah on television. Bob Greene was her guest and Oprah was plugging his newest weightloss type book. It sounded interesting and I really wanted to hear what he had to say….but I couldn’t. Because it just seemed that Oprah kept talking, and talking, and talking, and interrupting, and interrupting, and interrupting. I got so frustrated, I finally just turned the program off…it was clear I wasn’t going to hear what Bob had to say. He just sat there and took it!
Now, I don’t mind Oprah…I really don’t. But, today I was so frustrated, I actually yelled at the television, “Girl…shut UP!”
Does anyone else think she interrupts too much, or am I just grumpy because I’m not feeling well?
I admire her for all she has done,but I really think she interrupts a bit too much.I can remember when Diana Ross was on there bout 7yrs. ago,she was talking bout her reunion with the SUPREMES Diana just nicely touched Oprah on her hand,and she got the message. but i really dont watch her like that until she has someone on there
