What is the best way to cook a Boston Beef Roast in the oven with very few ingredients?

If it’s at least a 3-5 lb roast, I line a pan with heavy aluminum foil. Let the roast sit out awhile to get the chill off (about 30 min). Preheat your oven to 350. Put the roast in the lined pan. You can add any vegetables you like or just salt and pepper, maybe some garlic and onions (mmmmm) if you like them. I add about 1/4 to 1/2 cup water for extra broth. Wrap it all well with the foil, place it in the oven and cook about 3 hrs. Mine always turns out juicy and tender this way. And call me when it’s done, lol. Good luck!
