Adnan Alousi is the first winner in the Observer Eccentric/Hometown Newspapers Paws for Applause Essay Contest. Adnan’s essay was selected from many received the last month. As the winner, he received four tickets to the Detroit Tigers game on Sunday, April 11, a gift card for a Little Caesars HOT-N-READY Pizza and an autographed photo of Tigers third-baseman Brandon Inge.
