Pound Ridge author accused of sex trafficking hospitalized due to overdose
NEW YORK – Joseph Yannai, who was awaiting a federal verdict on sex trafficking charges, has been hospitalized due to an overdose, officials said. Yannai remains unconscious at an undisclosed location. The Westchester County District Attorney’s Office could not confirm published reports that the 67-year-old cookbook author attempted suicide Wednesday.
