recipe for dinner?
I'm a dinner for 6-8 people and ideas need a menu, including their income and do. Want something not too formal (ie, beef Wellington), but not too informal (ie lasagna). Thanks! First poster posts no response. Why bother Respond if you have nothing to say on the subject? party trays are not "income."
Good luck with your dinner, here are some recipes that are not too formal but not too casual. 
HOT Bacon Stuffed Mushrooms 4 slices of bacon 24 medium mushrooms (about 1 1 / 2 lb) 1 tablespoon butter 1 / 4 cup finely chopped onion 1 clove garlic, finely chopped 1 / 3 cup finely chopped red pepper 1 to 2 jalapeno peppers, finely chopped 1 / 2 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 / 4 cup chopped fresh parsley or 1 c. 1 tablespoon dried. Cook bacon until crisp. Remove from pan, cut and drain the fat from the skillet. 2. Remove stems of fungi. Book and finely chopped 2 / 3 of the stems. Discard the stems. 3. Cook mushroom caps in boiling water for 1 minute. Drain and rinse with cold water. Drain on towels paper. 4. Melt butter and add the mushroom stems, onion and garlic. Cook five minutes. Add peppers and cook for three minutes. Cool and add bacon, cheese and parsley. 5. Pour the mixture into the caps. Bake on a baking sheet at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Serve hot. Medallions Apricot Pork Recipe: Terry Henderson Serving size: 4 Measuring the amount of ingredients ——- ———— ————— — ——- ——- 1 lbs pork loin – cut 1 inch slices 1 tablespoon butter 1 teaspoon butter half cup apricot nectar 2 green onions 1 / 4 cup dry mustard 1 teaspoon tablespoons tablespoon cider vinegar Flatten pieces of netting cut into slices, and then beat them flat between layers of film. 1 tablespoon butter, melt over medium-high heat in a skillet large fried pork about 2 minutes per side, remove pork from pan. Add 1 tablespoon butter, coffee, nectar, onion, mustard and vinegar in the pan. Cover and simmer 3-4 minutes. Add beef and cook through. Service Ideas: Serve with fresh vegetables and a simple white rice also goes very well with rosemary roasted potatoes with herbs. NOTES: A very simple dish to make a 20-minute chicken parmesan Ingredients (4 servings) 4 boneless, skinless, boneless chicken breast 1 egg, lightly beaten 1 / 2 c butter, seasoned bread crumbs 2 TB or margarine 1 3 / 4 c tomato sauce 1 / 2 C shredded mozzarella cheese 1 TB grated Parmesan cheese 1 / 4 C fresh parsley chopped palm flatten chicken using uniform thickness. Dip chicken in egg then in crumbs until coated. In a skillet over medium heat, in hot margarine, chicken is browned on both sides. Add salsa. Reduce heat. Cover and cook over low heat 10 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and parsley. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Makes 4 servings. 2 Sesame Chicken Ingredients (2 servings) 3 / 4 pound chicken breasts, boned and skinned 3 c. flour 2 TB sesame seeds 1 teaspoon tablespoon soy sauce 1 / 2 ts Peanut oil 1 tablespoon maple tablespoons red lettuce leaves 1 TB sherry 1 lg tomato, fresh blackberries 1 teaspoon ginger chopped Pepper to taste 1 / 2 ts Chinese five-spice powder Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut chicken into pieces about 1 by 2 inches. Mix soy sauce, maple syrup, sherry, ginger and five spice together. Add chicken and marinate 20 minutes, turning once. Meanwhile, the sesame seeds in a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 10 minutes or until a little brown. Drain chicken, reserving marinade. Dredge chicken in flour seasoned with a little salt and pepper. Shake off excess. Heat oil in a nonstick skillet. Add chicken and brown, about 1 minute per side. Pour marinade over chicken. Add garlic sauté for 1 minute, then add chicken and cook for 7-8 minutes per side. When chicken is almost cooked (no longer pink inside), add spinach and saute all together for 3-4 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare Alfredo sauce according to package directions. When finished, add 2 tablespoons of pesto and set aside. In a large saucepan of boiling salted water, cook pasta 8-10 minutes or until al dente. Rinse with cold water drain. Add the chicken mixture with spinach / a paste, then add the pesto and Alfredo sauce. Mix the cheese and top with the kick. Neptune Delight Ingredients: unsalted butter 1 / 4 cup all-purpose flour March 2 cups heavy cream, divided 2 oz Parmesan cheese grated cheese 2 tablespoons dry sherry / 2 teaspoon paprika 1 2 cups crab meat 1 cup cooked shrimp cooked, peeled 1 1 / 2 cups garlic croutons to taste 1 / 4 cup fresh parsley 4 tablespoons melted butter —————– ——————— MODE ——– ———————————-: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt 3 tablespoons butter tablespoons. Remove from heat and add flour. Pour 1 / 2 cup cream and beat well, return to heat. Add cheese and mix until creamy.
