Pots crack only when they undergo drastic temperature changes- from hot to cold- cold to hot- so don’t put a pot with very cold ingredients in a hot oven, put a cold pot in a cold oven so they heat up together gradually. Also, don’t run a hot pot under cold water, use hot water or let the pan cool a bit first.
