Is Cocoa Powder in America different to Australia?
I’ve used recipes from America which call for A LOT of cocoa powder and it ended up making the food over chocolatey and bitter. I wondered if maybe the two products are different, maybe it’s more concentrated in Australia? Does anyone know anything about this, or how to adapt recipes, or was I just unlucky?

I wonder if your cocoa powder is actually a cocoa drink mix which includes milk solids and sugar? What do you do to make cocoa? Just add milk or water? American cocoa powder you have to add sugar and milk.
