Has anyone had success with making homemade White Castle burgers?
I’m no where near a White Castle, or Krystal’s. I’ve found several recipes on the internet, but wonder how close they come to the real thing. Any experience? Fried, or baked?
I tried once and the key was keeping the meat super thin and the buns all steamy…wasn’t worth the effort but then again I have a White Castle 2 miles away. I used a recipe I found online too and they were fairly close in taste but I couldn’t get the meat texture right. I mean, it’s pretty hard to make a meat pattie that’s about a centimeter thin. lol
They also sell them in 6 packs in the freezer section of lots of grocery stores. Have you seen them?
