
What is your favorite cookbook?
Is there one you use more than others? I have a few…the good old Better Homes & Gardens Red & White checked one, Good Housekeeping’s “Illustrated Guide to Desserts”, Martha Stewart’s Blue one, “The Barefoot Contessa Family Style” and “The Family Baker”. I sort of collect them, and am always looking for new ones. (I have about 120 now.)
Irma Rombauer’s “A Cookbook for Girls and Boys”
“The Joy of Cooking”, The 1953 edition is encyclopedic, and it still dealt with food at that point.
“I’m just here for the food” by Alton Brown
