I am a senior Girl Scout and need some ideas… help! 10 points awarded to best answer……?
I know you all must think that I am crazy to still be a Girl Scout at the age of 17, but aside from that, I need help!
Our troop would like to go on a trip this summer in June, which will cost at least $1,000. Our troop just recently took a large trip, and we have depleated our treasury and are back at $0.
We will be selling cookies this January which will be helpful, but since we are older, it is harder to sell (we just don’t have the same cute innocence as before).
I need any ideas for making money as a troop. New Fundraiser ideas that work well and that can make us at least 1000 by June… I know it can be done, but I just don’t know where we would start.

January – Spend a Saturday taking down holiday decorations for people and putting them away. Wash decorations off shop windows and sweep up. Send out flyers during 1st week of January advertising these services and your prices.
February – Deliver singing Valentines Day greetings and proposals. Shovel snow for small businesses.
March – Help start clearing gardens for early planting. Sweep walks and get salt off them.
April – Help plant gardens and clean up yards. Take down storm windows.
May – Weed gardens, mow lawns, wash cars. Plant annuals for businesses. Paint benches.
